In case you missed it: Biggest moments from BLACKPINK’s concert in Manila

“We the only gang to run the game in high-heels…” says one of the remixes of BLACKPINK and it encapsulates who they are as a group. Fierce, fashionable, and feminine, the quartet has amassed millions of fans all over the world with their talent, good looks, and undeniable charisma. They broke numerous records with the release of their Square Up album last month, and they have also achieved the record for the most-viewed Korean music videos on YouTube for some of their songs.

Filipino Blinks came in full force at the SM Mall of Arena to watch their most-awaited concert on Saturday, February 2, which was produced by MMI Live and Pulp Live World. This is the first time the group visited the Philippines since their debut in 2016, which was no wonder why the fans were so excited to meet them.

Here’s everything you might have missed:

The girls enjoyed some pool time the night before the concert.

Big local celebrity attendance

It’s now the local celebrities turn to fangirl as many recognizable faces on Philippine TV and films trooped to the venue to watch the girls. The girls performed solo stages

Jisoo started the solo stages by singing Zedd and Foxes’ song titled “Clarity.” Lisa got the crowd moving with her dance performance of Jason Derulo’s song “Swalla” which featured Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. Rose sang an acoustic version of The Beatles’ “Let It Be.” And Jennie performed her solo hit single aptly titled “Solo.”

Fan’s gift

One fan made plushies or stuffed toys with their pre-debut baby photos printed on them, which caught Rosé’s attention and she brought them on stage and thanked the fans.
