‘Tis the season for new lipsticks! Different makeup brands have been launching new lippies left and right, and they come right on time for the fall season. MAC, Tom Ford, and Nars are among those that recently came out with a new collection, which will no doubt leave lipstick junkies drooling. Whether you’re after popular fall tones such as chocolate brown or plum, neutral or nude lippies, and glossy or holographic shades, these brands got you covered.
Tom Ford Girls
Remember Tom Ford’s clutch-size lipsticks which were each named after a man in his life, aptly dubbed Lips and Boys collection? Well, now there’s a Girls collection (obviously named after girls), because girls want in on the fun, too. The Tom Ford Girls collection has a total of 50 hues, and it features shades that will take you back to the 1990s such as sparkly purple (Georgie), periwinkle (Isamaya), and shimmery sky blue (Lena). The collection combines sheer and ultra-rich lip colors.
MAC Neutral Lipsticks
If you prefer to ditch the trend of dark shades for fall, MAC’s new Neutral lipstick collection is for you. Fresh from its second collaboration with rapper Nicki Minaj, MAC has come out with another collection of neutral and nude lippies which reportedly “works for the widest range of skin tones yet.” The collection was launched on Sept. 21 and is now available in MAC stores and maccosmetics.com.
Nars Holiday Collection
While the rest of us are just welcoming the fall makeup trends, Nars has gone ahead and introduced its holiday collection earlier this month. As an early holiday gift to its fans, Nars partnered this time with renowned photographer Man Ray. The result: vibrant lipstick shades with a dab of holiday swag.
