Demi Lovato has always been open about her struggles with addiction. Known as a feisty woman who won’t back down, she has constantly fought to keep sober. Sadly, some battles are harder for her to fight, just like this recent one.
News broke that the singer was recently rushed to a hospital in L.A. after a suspected heroin overdose. Sources say she’s already in a stable condition and awake. In light of the news, many of her celebrity friends took to Twitter to show their support, prompting the hashtag #PrayforDemi to go viral. Demi’s fellow music artists and friends from the entertainment industry rallied behind her after the incident.
