After laying low about her baby Xavi and keeping mum on the real story behind her relationship, Liz Uy finally bared all in a feature article on Philippine Star. Titled “Liz Uy Chooses Love,” the article reveals how Uy met her current partner and baby Xavi’s father; Uy’s version of the truth regarding the controversies; and how motherhood changed her.
While it’s a beautifully written piece, the article has spurred all sorts of reactions from netizens, once again digging up the previous allegations that Uy is a homewrecker. Everyone’s arguing about the specific line in the article that says, “Liz and her partner Raymond Racaza — who was by then already estranged from his wife, and who has since been annulled…”
A lot of netizens pointed out that Uy met Racaza when he was still married, and they even dug up photos from the Instagram account of Racaza’s former wife to prove it. Some even called out the writer of the article, Irish Dizon. However, there are also others who sided with the stylist and her version of the story, including Liz’s friend Bianca Gonzalez. Here are the mixed reactions on Twitter.
What a way to clear someone else’s name no? Sickening.https://t.co/RxPXTJw8VJ

I like you Bianca and I respect that you’re her friend but I pray that no Liz Uy will do ‘that’ to your family. https://t.co/QPL2lHY4VO

This made me sick 🤮 The OG fam, went silent about this. I just feel bad for the OG fam who did not say anything when this was a hot topic back then. Liz, this is not love. You are being selfish. 😭

We dont need to know the whole story dear. All you need: STALKING SKILLS
Why is Liz Uy lying? May 2016 she said racaza was already annulled but then again Doc Ging posted a pic January 14 2017 and the 3 of them were still together. Kabit na sinungaling pa. Tsk tsk pic.twitter.com/TDzPT9jYPG

Just read that PhilStar article re Liz Uy. Read some comments, too. It’s disgusting how our ‘culture’ seem to celebrate a homewrecker. No one should ever be involved in a person who is married.

It’s not really “truth according to Liz” when you paint a rosy picture of one side and admonish other people for their understandable take on what happened. Also, to quote your article, “Liz Uy was unfairly blamed for the breaking down of a relationship…”

I knew it!! I chose not to believe what people had been saying about Liz Uy. I knew she wouldn’t do those things people kept throwing at her.
Wow, hands down on how she handled the situation, how she chose love and kept silent rather than wasting time on those bashers.

This article about #lizuy is good. Cguro she needs to protect her son pero the article will also be read by a child who will be reminded of the pain of having her family broken. The message is good #chooselove pero sana mas maganda kung choose silence nalang #irishdizon

(2) Admission of guilt and one’s mistakes, and ultimately taking full responsibility for it would’ve easily thrown this issue with Liz Uy down the drain. But no. You all had to make logical reasons (but not really) why things happened the way they happened. @iamsuperbianca

Hey, @djvilleza! #Philstar‘s @IrishDDizon deleted my comments too… and then blocked me on IG. I guess some writers can’t stand to be questioned about articles they publish. #LizUy #KabIT pic.twitter.com/BmXE8EXiab

Tried to read Liz Uy’s Philstar article. Ate girl, is it the truth or just trying to clean a tarnished reputation? And what has become of our values Irish Dizon? You should never have an affair with a married man. Ever.

Just want to become Liz Uy when I grow up

Were the guy and his wife estranged when he met Liz Uy? their social media accounts say otherwise.
I hope this is not an attempt to normalize infidelity (and yes; it’s still infidelity if marriage has not yet been annulled)
— Mel (@melveltoo) August 16, 2018
Liz Uy getting all the blame, is being bashed and being tagged as a homewrecker when both the man and the woman are accountable for that. It takes two to make a baby. 🤔🙃
